replacing a letter in another place, such as replacing the letter “haa الهاء” in: {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ} with the letter “Ha’ الحاء”, as well as replacing the letter “Daad الضاد” in: {فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ} with the letter “Taa الطاء”.

The mistakes related to the pronunciation, that is, the mistakes related to the perfection of the pronunciation, and they were called the hidden mistakes; because only those who are experts in reading can distinguish it.

The Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever recites a letter from Allah’s Book is credited with a good deed, and a good deed is rewarded tenfold. I don’t say Alif-Lam-Mim is a single letter; rather, Alif, Lam, and Mim are all letters.”

Our Prophet Mohammad said, “The Muslim who is prefect in Quran Recitation will be with angels and he who reads the Quran and finds it difficult to read, doing his best to read it in the best way possible, will have two rewards.”

  • Ablution

It is Sunnah for Muslims Quran Recitation or offline to read it after performing ablution, and reading it without ablution is permissible.

In the absence of water, tayammum is permissible.

As for the human who is in a state of janaabah or the female who is menstruating, reading Quran is not permissible for them.

  • Miswak

It is Sunnah for the reader to use the miswak before beginning the recitation. The Prophet said, “The Miswak (tooth-stick) cleanses and purifies the mouth and pleases the Rubb.”

  • Cleanliness

The cleanliness of the place where the reader wants to read, and therefore it is preferable to read the Quran in the mosque. As for reading Quran online anywhere else, it is permissible, provided that the Muslim does not occupy himself with something that prevents him from reading Quran.

  • Recite Istiaazah and Basmalah

The first thing that you should do before beginning to read the Quran is to recite Istiaazah and Basmalah.

The translation of Istiaazah is: “I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the Accursed.”

Thw translation of Basmalah is:”In the Name of Allah the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
