86 surahs, revealed in Mecca, are a subject of correct faith, its requirements, and faith in Allah.

The Quran has no set course and the surahs are ordered by length rather than chronology. Nevertheless, the second Surah, Surah Al-Bakarah, is the longest in the
Quran at 286 verses.
